Hawaiian Ultimate Adventures 

Half Day Bamboo Forest & Waterfall Hike! I live here and the beauty still astounds me. We really do not have the opportunity to revel in our island paradise. This excursion was wonderful to say the least. Our guide, Joelle has a great deal of respect and an impressive knowledge of our island, its flora, fawna, culture and history. Have you ever had the opportunity to stand in the middle of the bamboo forest and just listen? It’s like being in the middle of soft, melodic wind chimes, it was so incredibly tranquil. Can we say “stress relief?”

 You cover a lot of ground during this hike, but it sure doesn’t seem like it. This hike does require a bit of stamina at some points, which makes it interesting and challenging for some, but there are plenty of serene waterfalls and natural pools in which to cool down! I had my 9 yr old daughter with me and she fared just fine. She did learn her lesson NOT to touch keiki bamboo….the hard way, but she had a blast!

 Hawaiian Ultimate and its team truly respect our paradise and it shows. For anyone who wishes to really experience some of what Maui is all about, this is the way to go! I  went home with an experience I will remember for a long time!
